Bright brambly berry, plum, peony. Palate floods with red roses, raspberry, strawberry. The Seghesio Estate has been in the family since 1964, when the practice of sharecropping ended and the family bought the vineyards.  Brothers Riccardo and his late brother Aldo started bottling the wine under the family name in the late 1980s. Seghesio creates classic, solidly Italian wines... pristine in style, a focused showcase of the Langhe terroir.   100% Dolcetto which is the varietal the local Piedmontese Italians drink for everyday living.
